Summary/Abstract: This paper highlights the relationship between religious education and moral education in the formation and development of young schoolchildren, emphasizing the interdependence between these two types of education. Religious education provides a diverse and stable framework for values that support children’s moral development. This type of education teaches young learners essential principles such as love for one’s neighbor, empathy, and respect for others. The paper analyzes the impact of discussions and moral characteristics from the religious sphere, which facilitate the internalization and externalization of ethical values by children. Additionally, it presents effective pedagogical methods adapted to the age and abilities of the students, as well as the role of family and the religious community in the moral formation of children. Contemporary challenges related to religious and moral education are also discussed, particularly in the context of secularization and cultural diversity, with solutions offered for their beneficial integration into the educational system.
