Summary/Abstract: This article examines teachers' attitudes toward implementing subject curricula in primary and secondary education within schools in Sarajevo Canton. It discusses key elements of the curricula as understood by teachers in lower and higher levels of pre-university education. The study highlights the difficulties faced when implementing teaching according to learning outcomes and emphasizes the importance of active participation among teachers. Notably, cooperation among teachers enhances the educational process through the exchange of ideas, teaching materials, and collaborative discussions. This type of collaboration fosters a participatory school community, ultimately leading to improved educational experiences for students. The findings indicate that primary school teachers engage in discussions about teaching methods and techniques more frequently and meaningfully than their secondary school counterparts. Emphasizing the exchange of ideas and materials generated from both individual and joint efforts is crucial, as it significantly contributes to student progress.
