Summary/Abstract: Early marriage, which is a social problem, is an experience that affects individuals physically, cognitively and socially throughout their lives. Although this experience is experienced at a young age, it also has important repercussions in youth, adulthood and old age. The study aims to address the experiences of elderly individuals who marry early during the marriage process. In the study, which was conducted using a semi-structured interview form with a total of 16 elderly participants, 8 elderly women and 8 elderly men, who had early marriage in Burdur, face-to-face indepth interview technique was preferred. Participants were reached by snowball method using purposive sampling. As a result of the study, it was determined that the participants defined early marriages as pressure, difficulty and fear, and that they married due to economic inadequacies and traditional cultural codes. In addition, it was determined that the participants in the study were against early marriage.
