Summary/Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effects of air transport pilots’ safety locus of control on their crew resource management (CRM) attitudes and to investigate the seperate and serial mediation roles of self-efficacy and flow experience in safety locus of control and CRM relationship. It is aimed to make recommendations to operators to improve their CRM effectiveness. Research data were collected from 410 air transport pilots working in Turkey by survey method. Research hypotheses were tested on the structural equation models and mediation analyses. The findings revealed that; air transport pilots’ safety locus of control predicts their CRM attitudes. In this context, both independent and serial mediating roles of self-efficacy, and flow experience at work were determined. Also, self-efficacy and flow at work as independent variables predicted CRM.
