Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses waqfiyyas and related documents written in the Bosnian language, concerning the allocation of property for the purposes of waqf in the former Visoko District, which includes the areas of present-day towns of Breza, Kakanj, Vareš, and Visoko. By examining the contents of these documents, key data were obtained, providing insights into the waqifs and their waqfs from the aforementioned district between 1918 and 1959. Copies of certain parts of the waqfiyyas examined in this study can be found in the third volume of the Waqf Register housed in the Ottoman Archives of Gazi Husrev Beg’s Library in Sarajevo. Additionally, a significant portion of the material is located in the unexamined archives of the Majlis of the Islamic Community in Visoko. The paper examines nineteen waqfiyyas, eleven donation contracts, four vasiyyetnames, and one exchange of waqf land.
