Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that deals with the development of computer systems capable of performing tasks characteristic of human thinking. It is developed using machine learning technologies, neural networks, and algorithms that allow the computer to recognize patterns in data and learn how to perform tasks that are attributed to human thinking. The use of artificial intelligence in education encompasses various technologies used to improve learning, which can be useful for enhancing learning, but should not replace human contact and interaction. The advantages of using artificial intelligence in education include the possibility of personalized learning, automatic grading of assignments, faster access to information, development of new educational technologies, and improvement of learning efficiency. Disadvantages include the lack of human contact and interaction between students and teachers and other students, lack of empathy and intuitive understanding, and difficulty in processing informal and creative forms of learning.
