Summary/Abstract: The article points out the basic elements of the geopolitics of the United States with a focus on geopolitical ambitions and perspectives. In the section on the geopolitical ambitions explains the main factors that have contributed to the emergence of the United States from a regional to a dominant global superpower that has no serious competition around three decades dominated the world geopolitical map - especially in its western half. In the section on geopolitical perspectives shows the process of the aspirations of the United States for further domination and expansion of interest in the areas of Eurasia, with one and a real decline in its overall power, on the other hand.
