Summary/Abstract: South-Eastern Europe or the Western Balkans is a place where states are characterized as unfinished societies and where modernization processes arise as political processes whose organization is created according to the standards of civilized advanced European countries, and the realization is moving in a completely different way, and therefore history follows the discrepancy disproportion of its occurrence. Such a process is related to the Yugoslav state, and the realization of the Yugoslav idea officially began a hundred years ago, so the author wanted to point to this jubilee in an attempt to present the actual creation of the idea of South Slavic or Yugoslavian, the problems in the realization of this idea and, finally, something it was said about the fate of this idea. Also, the author pointed out that the scientific analysis of this idea had been for a quarter of a century, but also the feeling that this topic can still be researched and analyzed a lot and that the actual seal should be given to this idea.
