Summary/Abstract: Very large online platforms and search engines that dominate the digital economy have become inescapable not only in the everyday lives of average individuals but also on the stages of politics, law, and culture. Beneath the surface of the heroic myth surrounding “tech stars” and their monumental corporations lies a network of actors that undermine free competition through offshore structures, mass acquisitions, and stock market manipulation. This study seeks to analyze the problems associated with these dynamics.
