Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes corporate social responsibility as a complex and multidimensional organizational phenomenon that is understood as a space in which the company is aware and responsible for its actions and as such its impact on other actors. Corporate governance is actually a function of corporate governance. Good corporate governance promotes fairness, openness and transparency in its responsibilities to stakeholders. Good corporate governance practice facilitates economic efficiency by focusing on value-added activities and helps to allocate resources efficiently. This is achieved when companies use their assets efficiently, attract low-cost capital, meet society’s expectations, and improve overall performance. In this way, corporations have not only financial responsibility and the pursuit of profit, but also the necessary social responsibility.
