REGIONAL CONNECTION AND COOPERATION OF TOWNS AND MUNICIPALITIES IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM ON THE EXAMPLE OF NATIONAL PARK KOZARA

Summary/Abstract: Although Republic of Srpska has numerous natural and created potentials for tourism development in its area, they are not sufficiently activated to be recognizable in the domestic and foreign tourism market. What the Republic of Srpska lacks is a regional organization of the tourism sector, which by its nature points to regional interaction, as infrastructure, natural resources and tourist activities transcend the boundaries of cities and municipalities. The paper presents a model of regional cooperation on the example of Mount Kozara, which as a unique natural and tourist resource divided between several administrative units.
