Summary/Abstract: One of the most important political dilemmas after the year 1989 was to cope with the heritage of the former communist regime. The aim of the paper is to describe the attitude of Czech parliamentary political parties towards persons who participated or cooperated with the communist Secret Security. It also explains whether and how these people represent and threaten the present security of Czech Republic.
