Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on the practical training of students pursuing pedagogical specialties, examined in the context of educational modernization and the growing need for qualified personnel in educational institutions. The article presents the results of a survey conducted among students from the Burgas Free University. The questions address the motivation of future educators to choose the teaching profession, the challenges encountered during online learning, and their satisfaction with the professional and practical training provided by the university. The analysis of the collected data concludes that practical training in schools and kindergartens should ideally begin as early as the first semester of the first year and progressively increase each subsequent year. This approach would enable future teachers to promptly identify educational contradictions and seek suitable theoretical and practical solutions to overcome them.
