Summary/Abstract: Research by a number of leading scholars shows that extracurricular employment of students is the strongest aspect of modern higher education. This is confirmed by the results of the activities of the Student Club “Mission Teacher” at the Burgas Free University. The new club unites the efforts of the students and the academic community of the Center of Humanities on the values, mission and vision of the Bulgarian education. The methods of non-formal education stimulate the initiative and creative energy of students who are future innovators in education. The article presents the concept of the club with its practical focus and the idea of continuity, as well as the results of a survey among the student community of BFU for their motivation and expectations regarding the practical training of future teachers.
