Summary/Abstract: Aim: The aim of this study is to explore how the process of delegation of authorityand responsibility impacts educational organizations' management. It investigatesthe influence of cultural values on management and leadership styles, emphasizingthe importance of understanding environmental culture and differences in this context.Specifically, the study examines the delegation process within public secondary schools,focusing on the transfer of duties, power, and authority to teachers by headmasters/mistresses.Drawing on participative leadership principles, the study highlights the shift towards sharedresponsibilities and collaborative decision-making among educators. It discussesthe challenges and benefits of this approach and suggests areas for further research to betterunderstand the factors influencing effective delegation within educational settings.In addition, the study highlights the situation with education, its costs, and the mainaspects of education in Ghana, they are evaluated and analyzed. The study draws conclusionsthat emphasize the importance of delegation of authority, as it will increase the effectivenessof the educational process and suggests areas in which delegation of authority would be mosteffective.
