Summary/Abstract: The alarm clock goes off. I look out the window: the sky is clear. I reach for my smartphone, it connects to my watch, I check what it shows—how well I slept. A 79. One hour of deep sleep. Not too bad, considering that I'm pretty nervous. I don’t even understand why I signed up for the Student Scientific Conference (TDK). Never again will I give in. Do I really need this? I went last year too, and I swore I wouldn’t do it again, and now look—I’m here once more. Not to mention that I couldn’t even properly finish the paper. The reviewers tore it apart. There were more minuses than pluses. Or were there? I don’t even know anymore.
