Summary/Abstract: This study delves deeper into the mysteries of the connection between games and learning to understand how this relationship is transforming current educational paradigms and what impact it may have on future educational practices. We explore how games can help children bring out the best in themselves while enjoying the joy of learning. Our current research is an action research study in which we used a tool called Poliuniverzum in a second-grade class. One result of our qualitative research is that this game family promoted a positive attitude to-wards learning mathematics. The students participated in the playful learning process with joy and enthusiasm, during which they were able to unleash their creativity. It was observed that, compared to traditional lessons, the students were much more open and actively participated in the sessions. Additionally, while using the Poliuniverzum game family, the students acquired a lot of new knowledge through play. During the six sessions, the students experienced so much creativity and joy that they didn’t even realize how much they had learned. This playful learning form not only developed their mathematical skills but also contributed to the strengthening of their personal and social competencies, such as cooperation and compromise.
