Summary/Abstract: The major aim of Nadieždaʼs Morozovaʼs study Old Believers in Lithuania: communities, distribution of dialects and most prominent features is to present the dialects of the Old Believers in Lithuania from different perspectives: their origin, distribution, functioning, main features and interaction with Lithuanian language and dialects. It also seeks to discuss the questions of the genesis of these dialects and the likely linguistic homeland of the Lithuanian Old Believers. Therefore this study is relevant not only for the scholars of Russian and other Slavic languages but also for specialists in Lithuanian and Baltic languages, as well as the Finnish language.
