Summary/Abstract: The transversal reading of the “Critique of Pure Reason” is done through three fundamental concepts: matter movement and space. The former two express that matter affects our senses, while the former constitutes the frame within which the first two are taking place. The position of these concepts in the precritical essays of theoretical philosophy is compared to their corresponding concepts found in the “Critique of Pure Reason”. The paper approaches as well the role of the “Metaphysical Foundations of Natural Science” and the final turn of these metaphysical foundations of natural science in the “Opus postumum”. Then, the investigation emphasizes the consequences of the progressive turn of these three concepts of Kant's phenomenology of cognition, in relation to the void space and the cosmic space.
