Summary/Abstract: I was born on All Souls’ Day, November 2nd, 1y44, in Ómoravica (Stara Moravica, Bácskossuthfalva) – begins the introduction to his life, photographer László Dormán, a living legend in Vojvodina. Between 1968 and 1988 he was a photojournalist and journalist for the newspaper Képes Ijúság, and from 1988 to 1993 he worked for the Hungarian editorial staff of Radio Novi Sad. Since 1993 he has been living in Hungary, and between 1998 and 2011 he worked for the Hungarian Radio, mainly on cross-border reports. Among others he documented Hungarian events of the second half of the 20th century in the Délvidék region. One has the feeling that what Dormán did not photograph did not happen. In his sociographic and cultural photographs, the recent history of the Délvidék region comes alive.
