Summary/Abstract: Being closely related to material and intangible culture, toys are objects endowed with playful meanings by children. These are specific to each stage of childhood. Games reproduce on a miniature scale the social spheres of adults. Therefore, starting from the idea that playing is part of children's folklore, I propose a descriptive classification of traditional toys.
