Summary/Abstract: This article explores how contemporary architecture in the Maghreb can bring new life to its rich symbolic heritage while addressing modern needs. By reintroducing traditional elements such as geometric patterns, arabesques, and calligraphy, modern architecture creates functional, aesthetic, and spiritual spaces. Abstract art and the use of local materials allow for a reimagining of ornamentation while preserving its cultural and spiritual depth. Through elements like perforated panels and the use of natural light, architecture becomes a vehicle for meaning, connecting the past and present. This approach demonstrates that tradition and innovation can coexist, reimagining the architectural identity of the Maghreb in a fluid, sustainable, and rooted way.
