Summary/Abstract: According to Law no. 302/2004 on international judicial cooperation in criminal matters, the Romanian Ministry of Justice fulfills several essential roles in facilitating and managing international judicial cooperation. These roles are defined in the law and reflect Romania's commitment to collaborate with other states in the fight against cross-border crime, while respecting human rights and international standards in the field of judicial cooperation.
