Summary/Abstract: The article reveals historical information regarding the importance of the Rondo for violin and piano in the compositional work of A. Mulear. The composer complements the rondo form with certain elements of the sonata form, associating themwith the continuous variation of the thematic material. A compositional analysis of the piece is proposed from an architectonic perspective, noting an increased level of technical virtuosity, expressive depth, and genre diversity.
