Summary/Abstract: The international treaty as a source of international law has a fundamental role in the development of international trade. Each treaty should define the rights and obligations of the parties, as well as the consequences of their non-fulfilment. The legal regulation of the contract for the international commercial sale of goods is mainly in the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (the 1980 Vienna Convention). This article will provide a detailed analysis of the rights and obligations of the buyer under the contract for the international commercial sale of goods, highlighting the key aspects that buyers must take into account when engaging in cross-border trade.
