Summary/Abstract: Starting from the inclusion of gender equality education within the programs of the Courses activated in some Italian Theological Faculties, the paper examines the educational commitment and the initiatives adopted by religious denominations, also in collaboration with public institutions, to prevent and combat the phenomenon of violence against women.
