Survival of archives as the expression of political will

Summary/Abstract: Archival material arises in exercising public and private legal interests of it’s creators, not from inspiration, nor as a product of cultural and artistic creativity. The mechanisms described in this work do not enable performing of activity in a regulated way. In the process of adopting regulations that affect their activity, archives must take a more active role. The process of harmonization of interests of the founders, creators of archival material and archives must be permanent, throw the all existing institutional forms of action, but also through greater involvement of professional associations.
