Summary/Abstract: The study examines various exploratory strategies related to the origin of the Glagolitic alphabet. There are reflected some of the contributions of the Bulgarian scientist Vasil Yonchev in this field, as the main focus lays on his contribution to the discovery of the socalled figure module.
