Summary/Abstract: Athanasius the Great presented the doctrine of the divine Logos in Oratio contra Arianos I-III. In this article we will find the definition of the second Person of the Holy Trinity, which was the fruit of the theological considerations of the Church Fathers during the Council of Nicaea in 325. According to Athanasius, the divine Logos is presented as the Wisdom of the Father (Greek: Σοφία – SOFIA). The Word of God became flesh (Greek: σάρξ - SARKS), as well as the way and resurrection (Greek: ανάστασις - ANASTASIS). The divine Logos possesses the immutability and constancy of the Father. The Son of God is not one of the creatures but is superior to them in nature. Athanasius emphasizes the eternal coexistence of the Father and the Son. The ancient shepherd states that the Logos and Wisdom are closely united in God the Father, as one Son of God.
