Summary/Abstract: An Unknown Historical Study by Gheorghe Şincai. The article presents and publishes an unknown historical study, written by Gheorghe Şincai, preserved in the fund of manuscripts of the Library of the Romanian Academy, Cluj-Napoca Branch. Entitled "Însămnare" (Note), the study represents an auxiliary material, a by-product of his masterpiece "Hronicul" (The Chronicle), the main historical work written by Gheorghe Şincai.
