Aspects of the Romanian culture in Transylvania in the first half of the 16th century

Summary/Abstract: The importance of the reformation in influencing the romanian culture has been a much debated subject. Instead of focusing exclusively on the extent of this influence, the investigation of cultural works uninfluenced by the reformation could bring better knowledge about the role of the reformation for the development of romanian literature. The author focuses on texts in Church Slavonic that are preserved in Transylvanian libraries.
