Summary/Abstract: Venetian Notes Concerning the Romanian Countries in the Second Half of the Sixteenth Century. The information offered by three Venetian narrative sources, preserved at the Marciana Library, reveals the specific relations of the Romanian Countries with the Otoman Porte to the end of the sixteenth century, the Transylvanian Principality enjoying a less restrictive situation as compared to Wallachia and Moldavia.
