Summary/Abstract: The workshop "Dmytro Čyževs’kyj and Prague: Perspectives of Intellectual Entanglement" took place at the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the CAS from January 18–20, 2024. It focused on Chyzhevsky’s "Prague period" (1924–1932) and his involvement in various scholarly communities, including the Ukrainian, Russian, Czech, and Slovak circles. The event featured contributions from 17 scholars, with keynote lectures and presentations exploring Chyzhevsky’s legacy in Slavic studies. Discussions included his relationships with notable figures like Roman Jakobson and his impact on literary history and philosophy. The workshop aimed to re-evaluate Chyzhevsky’s contributions within the broader framework of Slavic studies, combining literary, historical, and philosophical approaches.
