Summary/Abstract: Hybrid business and circular economy represent innovative approaches that can significantly enhance the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Opportunities such as sustainability and the integration of circular economy can reduce waste and increase resource efficiency. Hybrid business models foster innovation through the combination of traditional and digital approaches. They create jobs and develop new sectors and employment opportunities in green industries. Foreign investments and increased attractiveness for investors seeking sustainable projects are essential. However, there is a lack of awareness; it is necessary to educate businesses about the benefits of circular economy. A regulatory framework is also needed, with clear rules and incentives to support hybrid models. The lack of necessary infrastructure for recycling and sustainable practices poses another challenge. A significant financial barrier exists, as startups and small enterprises face difficulties accessing finance to adapt. Hybrid business and circular economy are key components for the future economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Leveraging these opportunities, along with appropriate approaches to addressing challenges, can greatly contribute to sustainable development, job creation, and increased competitiveness in the global market. Achieving these goals requires cooperation between the government, the business sector, and educational institutions, enabling long-term growth and prosperity.
