Summary/Abstract: In 1990 the explorations of the fauna Rhopaloeera were undertaken for the first time on the mountains in the Bosnian hilly terrain of Borja, Uzlomac, Čemernica and in the valley of Ugar. The total of 49 species o f Rhopalocera was found in this region. The data was incomplete but important, because these were the first data for this geographically and ecologically significant territory. The fauna of Rhopalocera of the Konjuh Mountain and the Krivaja River Valley was explored two times. The first time the research was carried out from faunological (1977-1979), and the second lime (1990/91) from the ecological aspect. In the course of overall research the total of 76 species of these insects was confirmed.
