Summary/Abstract: On the occasion of the archaeological research carried out in the Eastern sector of Capidava, in 2021, a weak silver piece of the "Inotești-Răcoasa" type was discovered. Its discovery seems to belong to a much higher chronological context. By publishing this numismatic piece, we want to contribute to enriching the file of Geto-Dacian monetary discoveries from the territory of Dobruja, and the appearance of an issue of the "Inotești-Răcoasa" type, in the possible former autochthonous settlement prior to the Capidava fortress, probably dated to the late Hellenistic era, constitutes a very important fact that attests to the existence of various connections between the local populations on the right bank of the Danube and on the left bank, from pre-Roman Dacia.
