Summary/Abstract: Background and objectives: Job satisfaction is a fairly new issue that has been studied for several years. With the increasing integration of digital technologies into various aspects of the workplace, understanding the impact of this change on job satisfaction is providing a new impetus for job satisfaction research. The emergence of these combined research areas can be referred to from 2018 onwards if we consider that the number of publications in this field started to increase significantly during this time. The aim of this article is to develop a bibliometric analysis based on a systematic literature re-view, to identify the most relevant factors influencing job satisfaction and to identify current research trends related to the integration of digital technologies in the workplace.Materials and methods: The bibliometric analysis was supported by the Bibliometrix soft-ware (RStudio). A search query was used in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. A total of 832 documents were retrieved. After refining the search and removing duplicates, we evaluated 559 documents indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Results: Based on these papers, a bibliometric analysis was performed confirming that the combination of these two research areas is an emerging field. Conclusions and summary: Several relevant themes were identified, such as teleworking, motivation and stress, and there is a clear link between digital work and the Covid-19 pan-demic pandemics.
