Summary/Abstract: Author chose the very wide definition of public space. It is space, regardless to its formal status (ownership), open and available to everyone. The notion of religious space is defined as a real space created by Roman Catholics. The aim of the paper is to assess the range of mutual merge of religious and public elements, sacrum and profanum. Turek, small town in Greater Poland, is the example.
