Summary/Abstract: The term competences is defined in many ways in the different literature, however, all definitions are based on the skills and knowledge of the individual. They usually refer to a given professional field, but if these competencies can be compared within the boundaries of another profession and practiced with a completely different focus, then these competencies are defined as transferable. Generally, they express their focus from one area to another in order to personally represent their experience in the organization. Different authors classify the types of competencies differently: soft (behavioral) competencies and hard (technical) competencies (M. Armstrong); basic (key) competences, general competences and functional (professional) competences (Hemel and Prahalad); distinctive competences, basic (threshold) competences and transformational competences (Zvil). The purpose of the article is to examine the role and importance of communicative competence, which is part of the national qualification framework of the Republic of Bulgaria. In general, there is no single concept of communication in a national aspect. There are different models, and one of them is presented by Stoyan Koev, who examines the influence of communication skills and communicative competence in the social environment and business. National communication models provide a framework for understanding and improving communication skills that are highly transferable and valuable across many different contexts and industries. For example, linear models of communication such as Aristotle's model, Lasswell's model, Shannon-Weaver's model, and Berlo's S-M-C-R model focus on the sender, the message, the channel, and the receiver. These patterns can help people structure their communication effectively, making sure that the desired message is clearly conveyed and understood. Based on the study of the theoretical aspects and the analysis of the types of communication, conditions for the occurrence of potential effects are formulated, which must be met by the organizations recruiting employees. This article focuses on communication as a transferable competence. In today's technological society, it is an important and indispensable skill in the organization. And although a person learns to communicate with people from early childhood, this skill accumulates positive and negative qualities over the years, which, for the needs of the organization, requires the selection and focus of the personality towards the very process of communication with a view to professional qualification and growth.
