Summary/Abstract: The recent appearance of a coin, from a very little known Tomitan monetary issue, gives us the opportunity to continue our article from Pontica no. 52. This monetary issue, struck in the name of Emperor Severus Alexander, illustrates a first "porta triumphalis" of the city of Tomis, thus completing the series of monetary issues with a propagandistic reverse dedicated to this emperor.
