Summary/Abstract: This study treats the history of the Csangos from Bacău and Roman counties as they were seen in the study survey conducted in 1942 by the referent of the Ministry of Interior, Constantin Alexandru. The report made by Constantin Alexandru but also the exchange of "remarks" with the prefect of Roman, general Șt. I. Ionescu, are unpublished documents not published so far. The documents are all the more important, as they are made in the middle of the war, and in the context created after Trianon, of the frictions between Hungary and Romania, which tried to assimilate them, in accordance with their current "national" interests.
