Essence, tasks and basic concepts in high-risk police operations

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the nature, tasks, basic concepts and legal regulations related to the implementation of high-risk police operations. At the beginning of the article, attention is paid to the general characteristics of the considered problem-essence and tasks. Subsequently, in a logical sequence, the principles, stages and types of high-risk operations are presented. Several definitions of the concept of "special operation" in Bulgarian legislation have been examined. In conclusion, it is noted that the activities of the police authorities in carrying out high-risk operations have been largely developed and refined, and special principles and concepts have been established in practice, contributing to the quality and effective work of the rapid response special units.
