The aim of this article is to offer a glimpse into the proceedings, with a focus on its main features, its characters (defendants, judges, prosecutors and lawyers) and its core moments. This paper also wishes to provide a balanced understanding of the Trial, as it was both subject to criticism and praised for its undeniable role in the creation of international criminal law.
