Summary/Abstract: The novel Spune-mi Gioni! by Aureliu Busuioc presents the scenarios of a young man’s failure in communism. The stylistic characteristics of the writer are irony, the caricature exaggeration of particular aspects of the loser and the construction of apparently absurd relationships, because the protagonist is convinced that only communism is a form of social order. The poses of Ion Tarabanțu, the veteran Verdikurov, are often motivated by chance, by indiscriminate choices, by the people who influenced him and proposed certain missions for the defense of the ideological cause. The novel Spune-mi Gioni! is a text of formation, addressing the theme of history, interest in the language spoken in Bessarabia and national identity. We will follow the complexity of the novel which derives not only from the biographical confession of the enkadevist, but especially in the message that Busuioc wanted to communicate to us.
