Summary/Abstract: The first part of the reviewed volume contains an extensive philological study, which captures some details about the personality of Antim Ivireanul, considering the role he played in a historical context where the Romanian Church was somewhat on the verge of replacing Slavonic, as the liturgical language, with Greek. The second part is dedicated to a meticulous linguistic study. The phonetic, morphological, and lexical particularities present in the text are analyzed and presented here.
