ON THE ISSUES OF OPTIMAL MOMENT AND TRUTH IN THE COMPARATIVE AESTHETICS OF DRAGUTIN GOSTUSKI

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we deal with the problems of the optimal moment of the emerging process and the truth, in the comparative aesthetics of art theorist, composer and esthetician Dragutin Gostuski. We are searching for the importance and connection between these issues, both in the relationship between the artist and his work, the recipient and the work of art, as well as in the relationship between art and other forms of creativity, including science. In this way, the final moment in the creation of a work of art, as a kind of metaphysical decision, we bring, through Gostuski’s attitudes, into connection with the nature of reality and truth - artistic, social, scientific. We also emphasize the importance of separating and classifying the concepts of fact and truth. We raise the question as well, on a way of recognizing this optimal moment, thereby also recognizing the Truth.
