Summary/Abstract: The personalized experience simultaneously integrates the process of creating a work of art, the relationship between authors and their work, and the reception of the artwork by the recipient. This phenomenon also explains the main characteristic of art and works of art - the impossibility of fixation, primarily because experience itself cannot be fixed and is constantly being adapted to the circumstances that shape and surround an individual. The study of the phenomenon of personalized experience also deals with the crucial question of the need for meaning, particularly in relation to the views of Nicolai Hartmann. The phenomenon of personalized experience is linked to matters such as the selection from personal experience, collective experience, and the community’s understanding of the work of art and artistic experience.
