Summary/Abstract: The world of employment is changing rapidly as a result of technological changes and researchers disagree whether a digital economy will lead to unemployment following automation and using machines or new types of work will replace old ones. Review the current and future employment market. We are in an era of rapid changes greatly affecting the employment market such as globalization, aging population and obviously, the digital turning point. While the effect of the first two is clear and has even been widely explored, many arguments remain about the effect of digitization on the economy and particularly implications for employment. This article will attempt to examine developing trends, immediate and later effect on socio-economic processes occurring and those facing the future employment market. The author is an Israeli researcher and as such will present a picture from a viewpoint of what is happening in Israel.
