Summary/Abstract: As the theory of cognitive linguistics claims, metaphors shape not just our communication, but also the way we think and act in our everyday life. The aim of this article is to describe the usage of some cognitive metaphors in economic texts in Bulgarian online media. The object of cognitive and discourse analysis are economic media articles published 2020-2023 on the Internet.
