Summary/Abstract: Progressive computerization undeniably affects every aspect of society, including the conduct of litigation. This is emanating not only from the regulations being introduced into the Code of CivilProcedure, which clearly “benefit” from technological developments. It is also relevant to the evi- dence that parties to proceedings offer to prove their case. On the background of the above, a screen- shot should be pointed out as a classic example of a “modern” means of evidence. The subject of this article will therefore be an attempt to analyze how a screenshot is created, what may constitute its content and, finally, how to submit it to the case file in order to make it a reliable and effective means of evidence for a party to the proceedings.
